Our Vision
Building Hope
Our vision with your help is to create a long-lasting impact in our community. The goal is to acquire a piece of land where we can establish permanent housing, workshops, greenhouse and possibly some livestock, as we are currently renting. The housing will serve those in need and the workshops for creative and educational endeavors, while the greenhouse and livestock will help to have a form of sustainability. By providing a safe and stable living environment, we aim to empower individuals and bring the community closer together. Our workshops, greenhouse and livestock will offer opportunities for skill development and foster a sense of belonging among residents. We believe that investing in this project will not only improve the lives of those directly impacted but also contribute to the overall growth and prosperity of our community. Together, we can create a place where everyone thrives.
Relocation
Throughout the last 25 years, our organization has undergone several relocations, primarily driven by rental arrangements and the subsequent sale of properties. This frequent movement has posed challenges in establishing a stable and efficient operational system. Presently, our facility operates on a rental basis, although there exists an attractive option for future purchase at a favorable rate.
The structures comprise of corrugated iron and wood, augmented by some permanent facilities already present on the property. Upon securing a permanent residence, we envision constructing lasting infrastructure such as housing, dormitories, and workshops. This strategic development plan aims to create a secure and enduring environment, enhancing our capacity to extend outreach efforts and provide a more steadfast support system.
